V&A Museum acquires Vivien Leigh archives

VIVIEN-LEIGH-1Big news Vivien Leigh lovers! The V&A Museum in London has been given permission to show items from her personal archives!

This fantastic news brings us the joys of some of Ms. Leighs personal affects ranging from letters and dresses to a guest book from Notley Abbey.

This is where I originally found the news http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23692733 Here you’ll find more information on what will be getting displayed in the Autumn. Not long to wait!

I personally am looking forward to seeing the letters between her and Sir Laurence Olivier and maybe drooling over _69273578_69273141the dresses she wore. And has any true Vivien fan I’m anxious to see anything from the Gone With The Wind era.

So big thanks to her grandchildren for allowing this spectacular exhibition to take place, we are all truly in your debt!

The archives will be online so those who can’t make it to the exhibition so keep your eyes peeled.

Look out at http://www.vam.ac.uk for any further info!
